2008 has been very adventurous. We have gotten a lot of opportunities. They have made things fun and given us a lot to think about. 2008 Feb-Mar—Chris got an opportunity from YFU to go to China. She was so excited she could hardly wait. She found that she was going to China via Germany. So she called our exchange daughter Sonja. Arrangements were made and she was off. She visited Beijing ,Shanghai and Guillin. (She has developed a relationship with an orphanage there. The grandkids are growing like weeds. January 2008—Lee had a 60th birthday month with all kinds of gifts, food, harassment and love. Little “60”s showing up everywhere. All but Shaunna in the area “surprised” me. (I was surprised that all could come since there was a lot of snow in the passes. After 3 previous decades of surprises it is hard to really be surprised.) December 2007—Christmas in Walla Walla with the Olsons. Lots of fun and games. Lots of food and gifts. November 2007 — Thanksgiving was in Bellevue with most everyone that were in Washington except those working. Taffy Pull sponsored by Michael and Stephanie.
